Proxy Definitions and Top 5 Proxy Websites | Ethical Hacking Training in Chandigarh

In this tips and trick I will write down about proxy and their type on
the net.
Proxy definitions according to wikipedia :
a proxy server is a server (a computer system or an application) that
acts as an intermediary for requests from clients seeking resources from
other servers. A client connects to the proxy server, requesting some
service, such as a file, connection, web page, or other resource,
available from a different server.
There are 3 types of proxy service in the internet :
Transparent Proxy
The transparent proxy servers change your real IP address into proxy
server IP address, but your real IP address is still presented in the
request. So if the web site (you are requesting) needs to get your real
IP address they will easily find it in your request. A transparent proxy
announces to the world that it's a proxy, and passes on your
information. It provides no privacy improvements.
Anonymous Proxy
The Anonymous proxy servers do not transfer the information about your
real IP address. An anonymous proxy offers the caching benefits of a
transparent proxy, while hiding your IP address by replacing with either
the proxies IP, or a random address. The downside to this approach is
the websites that use address detection to establish unique users will
not be able to distinguish you from others in your domain.
Elite Proxy
The Elite proxy servers are the most secure ones, they have all
advantages of anonymous proxy server in the subject of privacy plus they
are trying to hide the fact of using proxy servers for connection. In
other words, they behave in the way like you are not using proxy server
at all and the IP address you are providing, is your 'real' IP address.
The main thing you should know about elite proxy server is that they are
more secure then anonymous, but because of this advantages many
internet surfer and offensive hacker use this type of proxy that will
cause the speed more slower.
